Gillian Osborne

Gillian Osborne is an Instructor and Curriculum Designer for Poetry in America, and the Director of Curriculum at ASU’s Center for Public Humanities. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University, and has received fellowships from the Harvard University Center for the Environment, the American Antiquarian Society, and the Emily Dickinson International Society. Author of a book of essays, Green Green Green, and co-editor of a collection of critical essays on environmental poetry, she has also published poetry and criticism, and taught students at the Harvard Extension School, Arizona State University, UC-Berkeley & Santa Barbara, Bard College, and elsewhere.
