Wendy is a long time educator based in New York City. She brings her years of experience as a teacher, tutor and curriculum developer to Poetry in America. With her focus on English, arts, and humanities, She has worked with numerous students to help them deepen their critical thinking skills and develop as readers and writers. Wendy became involved with Poetry in America during her participation in Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative. She is passionate about improving literacy and encouraging creative expression in her students.
