Poetry in America featured in News for Kids
On April 18th, 2018 the editors of News for Kids featured Poetry in America in their coverage of National Poetry Month. Poetry in America alum Shaquille O’Neal was used as a role model; readers were encouraged to follow in his footsteps and “Go to poetry readings, start poetry groups. Read poems about sports, like those who shoot hoops.”
